massivewangers
Right, bought a new car and I think it's probably going to make the most financial sense to break this. Some pictures of the car: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02853.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02854.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02824.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02777.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02785.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02784.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02814.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02787.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02789.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02793.jpg And the parts list: 2.0 Silver Top Zetec engine. Done 80-90k but had all gaskets replaced before fitting, and also a new cambelt. Runs very well, will also be supplied with a clutch less than 12 months old. Has a standard Escort exhaust manifold and will be supplied with a 1.8 115PS plastic inlet, NOT the 130PS cast alloy item pictured. This is strictly collection only, and the price is £175ono. This is engine is ready to fit into an Escort, no messing about swapping sumps and pumps. The only thing I won't have is a 2.0 throttle housing, but I'll try and get one. I'll leave thermostat, sensors etc etc all attached so it can be dropped straight into the car. 2.0 ECU. Unsure of code yet, will check upon removal and add price and things later. MK6 fitment Koni suspension kit. Unsure on it's mileage, but seems ok from what I can tell - £150 collection only 16" OZ Super Turismo with 205/50 tyres. Front two look very very good. One rear is getting low on tread. One wheel has had a flat spot removed in the past. Not mint but with a refurb could be nice - £150ono. Collection or arrange your own courier. Stainless steel back box with 3" tailpipe. This looks like it has been welded to the standard exhaust so not sure if it's an Escort part or not. £40ono RS2000 front brakes. Not sure how much meat is left on them, but will supply calipers, disks, pads and hoses - £50ono + P&P Foglight front bumper with mesh, fogs and lower rubber trim which is often missing. Will need paint - £40ono collection only GTI rear bumper with spats, needs paint as peeling - £35ono collection only GTI skirts, all jacking point covers included. Decent condition but will probably require paint - £40 collection only Smoked side repeaters - £6 posted Satin black Ghia grill. Paint isn't so bad but the grill isn't 100%. Looks like it's been repaired but you can't see it with it fitted and bonnet closed - £15ono posted Headlights - £10 a piece Half tinted tail lights. Not the usual sort with tint spray, but with pinstripe tape. Gives a similar effect but with virtually no impact on light output so much better in many ways - £30 posted Smooth rear wiper arm, think it could be from a Clio - £15ono posted GTI interior, 5dr obviously, seats and door cards, in decent condition with very little where - £100 collection only GTI/SI gearknob with silver insert - £10 posted Left hand parcel shelf support - £10 GTI dash surround, not 100% but useable - £5 Electric window switch with blue LED illumination. Some where but still works fine and lights up bright blue - £7 posted Ghia/RS interior light with maplights - £5 posted The car will be broken towards the end of the week so parts available from the week after ideally, though smaller items can potentially be removed if it doesn't effect the running of the car. I may add more as I think of it, but that's it for now! If anyone requires odd parts or panels, let me know and we can have a deal there too Edited September 5, 2010 by massivewangers

massivewangers
I think it has some adjustment, there's an adjuster knob in the cassette holder so I'm guessing so! I've never touched it to be honest as I just drove the thing. I've never noticed any issues with it. It's quite stiff, but I have heard that Koni's are really, but it seemed to handle ok. Not got any pictures really as they're still on the car til the end of the week. Will drop Micky a PM, cheers John Edited September 6, 2010 by massivewangers
