supersport
found out what the problem was, it was the loom, had to move two injector pins on the ecuconnector and it now runs! it is running a bit rich because i haven't got the lambda sensor connected yet, as i need a plugfor it. you can probably hear in the vid that it's abit loud but thats because it's in the garage.will get another video when it's outside. just need to get a lambda plug and a MK6 tps plug. also found this when routing the loom through in to the car:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v629/C72TLL/201220111378.jpg was behind the dirt shield on the passenger side
supersport
got the loom re-wrapped in tape, soldered all the connections and put all the loom in place, and it now has a miss fire again. haven't got any brakes so will need to bleed them through. supersport
got hold of a 1.8 MK1 mondeo ecu, so fitted that and fitted a 1.8 throttle body, also found alambda sensor connector whilst looking for some thing else (always the way!) and done a tempconnection with that, and swapped the idle speed control valve and injecot number 4 plugs over(same colour wires) and it fired up and ran fine, doesn't smell of petrol now so will run it likethat. just need to sort the alternator out and bleed the brakes. also noticed that the rev counteris reading double what it should, so will have to get some MK5 zetec clocks to swap the revcounter over. supersport
standard MK6 with home made de-cat and a crappy stainless steel back box, just what was lying around, came off of a MK6 istripped, sounds better in real life, just my phone is a bit old now and doesn't take good videos. dunketh
Wow. Going great guns there. Love to see a modded mk5.To think I've had my zetec sat in the shed since before you even bought the car and still managed to do nothing with it. What did you do with the trusty old 1300 hcs then? Drop it in the ocean somewhere?
