Without starting an arguement, yes you do need insurance to go to an MOT, you dont need an MOT or tax but you do need insurance

Without starting an arguement, yes you do need insurance to go to an MOT, you dont need an MOT or tax but you do need insurance i agree, even before the new law came in earlier this year, but now, all vehicles must be continually insured unless sorned and declared off road and must either be 'off the public highway' or in a condition where it cannot be driven ie on bricks with no wheels! (at which point they'll come and remove it for you and make you a nice paperweight!). naughty naughty taking a veicle onto the road witout insurance!! now slap your forehead and say 'doh!'
