Ahmotorsport
Thought i'd show you an Atmo Cossie engine we built for a Mk1 Escort, the engine used to run 260BHP in a FWD Mk6 Escort, but was sold to Gary where it was down graded to 215BHP for road use. Ahmotorsport
i did not, makes sense though, a twin cam Pinto. Edited October 5, 2011 by Ahmotorsport
Ahmotorsport
However thinking about it, i'm not convinced. Ford walked into Cosworth and saw the twin cam pinto already turbocharged (What i can remember from what Pa told me) and the head is a poor design for N/A applications. massivewangers
Story I heard was that they saw an NA pinto with a 16v head on it, and then it became turbocharged for the Sierra. Any pics of the MK6 this engine was in?

Any pics of the MK6 this engine was in?I suppose there's a lot that floats around over the years. I also heard that Ford said it was too expensive, so they put crappy old valves in it, worst type of Aluminium for the head etc. I've got pictures of everything we've done mate http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/Ahmotorsport/full-image4.jpg How it started out (RS2000 Engine though) http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/Ahmotorsport/full-image1.jpg Next stage (Atmo) http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/Ahmotorsport/full-image.jpg Atmo http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/Ahmotorsport/full-image2.jpg Atmo It was then sold with a 253BHP RS2000 engine.
