IMS
From what i can gather a lot of you on here know the car, i picked it up from ScORTED earlier today and after much faffing with flat batterys she cracked up and me and my mate rich embarked on tow roping her back to sheffield. Not something we'd do again but my recovery truck did its pump in last month and was stripped n scrapped. I'm a mechanic by trade so in my head i Should have it on the road in the next 48hours and can get on with making it the way i want it yeah... like its gonna be that simple Bit late so only just got some crap camera phone pics.... http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee437/IMS_SKODA/405430_10150573202190712_669740711_10982202_701791103_n.jpg http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee437/IMS_SKODA/387877_10150573201815712_669740711_10982200_1128917640_n.jpg

IMS
Pics probably do a better job of explaining (cheers to my mate rich for the pics and use of his driveway).... http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee437/IMS_SKODA/P1079748.jpg Fitted the stock bumper up properly (not in this pic but it is now) and sorted the wiring to passenger indicator. Removed the 2" exhaust which fitted the rs accesory bumper but which quite frankly looked a cock with a stock bumper and fitted a standard rear bumper Fitted my own 2 1/4" diameter cat back system much more my style and a bit more tame http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee437/IMS_SKODA/P1079750.jpg http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee437/IMS_SKODA/P1079746.jpg Started with this and finished with..... http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee437/IMS_SKODA/P1079751.jpg http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee437/IMS_SKODA/P1089754.jpg Only problem with it now is it wont start since we fitted the interior presuming a trapped wire but there is tape and crimps everywhere so we're on it tomorrow to replace the wiring. My soldering irons coming out to play im determined to rid her of crimps! Weve also begun flatting the paint with 1000 then 2000 grit and buffing it as it looks as if the cars never been flatted since paint? Its coming up alright i guess Next jobs... Rid the car of crimpsLaguna splitterFit the avo springs ive bought til i can afford some coilovers in a couple of months. And sort out the heater blower as it doesnt work and theres a piece of wire accross the fuse holder. My mate rich (previously mentioned) runs a wrapping firm so im having the roof and rs bonnet that i have wrapped in carbon and maybe the mirrors In the futureQuaife diffMorrettesWRC SpoilerCoilovers

ScORTED
I hate wiring, the guy who had the rs2000 before went to town fitting his alarm and most of it had to be taken out by a bloke for the car to run and be reliable, only the fuel pump looms a bit shoddy, the pump runs constantly rather than priming and then as needed. Guess you found the fuel pump inspectiuon hole! after dropping the tank multiple times to change pumps etc i decided it'd be easier to have access from inside the car! Also I can't really tell from the picture but it looks like you have a java blue rear bumper? Edited January 8, 2012 by ScORTED
IMS
Its grey dude. Yeh definately the wirings gash not had chance to do anymore. Sold my rs turbo engine so got a few spare pennies : Hows the pump wired then with just a permanant live rather than via relay?
