wont really make much of a difference, the fiesta rst engine would be a few years newer obviously, chop the exhaust manifold out for the escort rst one, it flows a better due to it being a big bigger, the fiesta engine bay was a bit cramped. can get decent power easy peasy from the old cvh-t as well!

I have done exactly what you are saying :P replaced the terrible 1.4 CVh with a 1.6 from a Fiesta RST.Much better, the engine suits better to the car.One of the problems is that if your gearbox have a lot of miles ,it may not last long with the RS engine.lol.Well,mine didn't ;) I have an Escort RST exhaust manifold, with a Garrett T25,which has full boost at 2-2.5K.It is really fun to drive and feels quick compared to what it was before.Agreed to Scottybo,Fiesta engineroom was really tight and had to put a smaller turbo to let the radiator mounted somewhere!lol.T25 suits better to the engine.I run it on stock boost, which covers what I want from my car...130 bhp as a base is also a good start for future mods. You must also do something with the brakes...if you want to stop,1.4 brakes are inadequate...
