Hi There!

 

I hope someone can help me on this....

 

I have an Escort GTI and a few days ago my CD player blew & now doesnt work., Since then, the clock has stopped working but still lights up and the cigarette lighter bit doesn't work either

I have checked all the fuses and non have blown :S

 

I hope that made sense :/

 

If anyone can give me some advise i would really appreciate it.

Man that's an odd one, could be bad ground, how bad was the blow? Could have dislodged a wire? Have you had a good look at the loom? Edited April 12, 2012 by Naylor2006

True but he is getting some power?

 

They all run from the same fuse IIRC, they don't have a relay as well for any reason?

 

To be honest if the radio blew cause it shorted out or something it could have knackered the clock and lighter somewhat.

yes they come off the side light circuit as above check fuses again fuse 29 and it should be 15 amp(blue)
