Gen Ford bottom arms V polybush

Fitted some firstline bottom arms about 2 months ago and while I was fitting them I made them camber adjustable by slotting the fixing holes....

Car is down 50mm and I had 4 wheel alignment done just after fitting the adjustable bottom arms - camber was spot on :thumb:

Car is wandering now so thinking bushes are shot....

Do I get Gen Ford arms, or fit polybushes into the adjustable arms curtently on my car?

Whos had experiences with polybushes and Gen Ford arms?

Car will be raised to a drop of 35/40 mm when I fit the new arms :thumb:

the power flex bushes have a lifetime warranty

http://www.powerflex.co.uk/lifetime_warranty.php

i was talking to someone on a rival polybush stand at classic ford show this year and he said his company had stopped making mk6 escort wishbone bushes as they could not get them to last the 3 month guaranty they were sold with, he then siad this is why the powerflex bushes are within a metal case

Surely there has to be some sort of fitting "terms and conditions" to offer the life time warranty? i.e will it still stand if they were fitted to a 50-60mm lowered Escort?

I emailed Powerflex and they replied with, they cannot guarantee the longevity of thier bushes if I fitted them to my 50mm lowered Escort due to the fact that the angle which the bottom arm has to move is far greater than standard and what they were designed to operate at....

I thought with it being lowered then the arm is moving less??

What he's trying to say is that lowering an Escort changes the angle that the arm sits at.

Cant remember why exactly but mine were never covered under the Lifetime Warranty, must have gone through 4 sets before I stopped and started getting Ford Arms with stock bushings. I think to be covered under the Warranty they have to have 'failed' rather than got knackered super quick, also something about outside the designed capabilities which can be open to interpretation.
