Locking nut removal - no socket

Lost my locking socket and need ideas on how to remove the locking nuts..

 

In the past Ive drilled them off, but that was extremely long winded and dont want to use that method again...

 

Any ideas?

If locking nut not too deep or recessed into the wheels, Halfords sell a universal locking wheel not remover sockets which use a course anti clockwise thread to bite in to locking nut.

 

It may not be suitable for all locking wheel nuts but it's never let me down.

tried the halfords ones on a few sets, ford, lexus, renault and theyve never worked so out comes the welder and some big bolts, weld those on and off comes the locking nut
