Hey guys, Quick question....What speaker options do i have for my Mk6 cabriolet? obviously wont be able to have 6x9's (would make pods but there is so little room they would just get in the way).

you can buy adaptors to increase the size of the front door speakers to 17cm, or you could adapt the current ones to house a 13cm component set with tweeters. maybe you can modify the bottom of the door cards to house another set of big speakers. also i think theres some speakers in there rear not sure what size but someone on here i think has done it. then options in the boot is what you want to do. also again the kick panels could be modified to house components. its down to what you want really!

I saw some escort mark 2 (i think) speaker pods for the kick panels that could be bolted in, would add a depth if fitted with 6.5s???? worth a think?? other than that, like sleeman said, speaker adaptors for the doors - see ebay, audioleads do adaptors, I've got 6.5s in the door and 6.5s in the back - dunno about cab rears tho, sorry.

Get the adaptors for the 6.5s to put in the front door, use components and cut the tweeters into the door cards, a decent set of front components is more important than whats behind you
