SLEEMAN
pretty easy fix.........well ish that's if you have the time to do it. rear bumpers are replaceable, but you need to remove the rear bumper in order to see how much damage has been caused to the rear panel and look well underneath to see if the chassis legs took some of it too also i'm only down the road from you buddy, if you need a tailgate I have one going spare as I am switching to either a fibreglass tailgate or carbon one and changing the roof too so if you want it say £20 comes with glass and working electrics, and maybe all you need is a sledgehammer to re align the rear panel temporary till it all fits?? escortlew
Could you hold it for me slee? Gotta see wats going on with insurance, think they coming out Monday/Tuesday too look at it. And previously ignored ya, sound proofing removal is just weight saving, very small weight saving but I just wanted too do it, thinking about only half cutting dash aswell instead of complete removal
SLEEMAN
plus I wouldn't take it to a bodyshop for your insurance to assess it as they will write that off probably cat b. my fiesta zetec s x reg was damaged in a head on collision, only looked like it needed bonnet, wings, front panel, bumper lights etc, but they wrote it off cat b so I couldn't even get the car back to break it up for parts! so be careful! JOHNDQ
Defo a right off no question buddy could always buy it back I guess, looks like trackday out window right shiter that is I have a rear bumper tho I think Wouldn't worry about going to mad stripping mate don't make that much odds when I stripped the Evo RS to the bone even removing the dash to get rid of wiring looms etc it didn't even make it 0.2 secs quicker at pod and that's with 400 odd horses forcing it along
