Don't have one to hand for a 1.4 and Euro Car Parts are £110 don't know if I could test it and take it back if it made no difference? Idle control vales are better refurbished or replaced IMO? Lamda sensor? Idle control valve seem pretty expensive to lol lambda sensor was going to be my next thing although makes no difference to the rpm when disconnected

JC
Idle control vales are better refurbished or replaced IMO? Lamda sensor? What makes you say those, considering what he's told us? From my experience i have never been able to get idle control valve "clean" to make a difference and have always found that it has been more effective to replace it. I mention lamda sensor because he has an emissions problem, in my experience of my escort, when it had emission issues it was a faulty MAF and lamda sensor

This connector does not work for testing engine, powertrain, or transmission modules. Check the VECI label to verify if the vehicle is not OBD-II compliant.
