demented Posted September 13, 2013 Share Posted September 13, 2013 Only tip I got, is take a good look at what and where it's failed, then consider your options. I had similar fail on a Rover 216 Coupe; fail sheet described it in such a manner it sounded much worse than it really was. Once the car was on the ramp, it was hardly anything, a few tiny holes, which a welder was able to plug weld at a cost of £25. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As the steering rack bolts down from the top, so you need to take the rack down with the subframe then unbolt it. apart from that, its easy enough to do.
