Advice on wheel size.

I'm going to be buying some new wheels, but, i dont know whether to buy 17" and not get it lowered.....or get 15"'s and get it lowered. I dont want to pay out for 17"'s and lowering cos my wife wants me to take her and the kids to Florida next year :nutter: . I've been reading alot of posts about the affects of having 17"s and i was beginning to think that without lowering my car the 17"'s would make my car handle very bad. As i do a fair amount of miles everyday atm thats why one of my options was for 15"'s with lowering.....

....so i ask all you experts out there to give this n00b some help :D

heres pics of my car for you to see what would be best for me.
