T9BY G
lol it thew the reliability out the window and took ages to track the problem down to the superchip although they reprogrammed it after that and nothing went wrong again, but still no great increase in drivability or performance even though i had an induction kit, exhaust and power boost valve to go with it
T9BY G
i should have put it on the rolling road at the same time to get it all set up properly, that may have helped thinking bout a unichip this time
Chrissyboy
I was talking to the local superchip dealer and he said they dont need setting up on the rolling road because they are already set for your type of car
T9BY G
yeah they are setup according to the code written on the outside of your ECU box. The programme can´t be altered to try and gain a few more bhp thants why im thinking about a unichip, they cost a bit more but are more versatile

Cappy
Guys.. Look up Dastek ECU units. I think you can get then from GMC motor sports. These are piggy back ECUs that sit on the original ones and give you full 3D fuel maps. Can be setup on a rolling road with a laptop and only cost about £300. If you sell the car, you can take it with you too. Bargain if you ask me. Amit
