simonh1
JL m8.......... 10w6........
Mike C
the last xplods were sh!ite in all honesty, but the new pentagonal ones sound class, but only with the xplod monoblock bass amp (1600w) which is £250 minimum, and they will require one each as they are only one channel (hence the monoblock)JL Audio are the daddies of subs, but 'tis reflected in the price and will need serious amplification to get the best out of them. K3V HA
Simon, is the JL10W6 the one that you've got? Im only wanting something to look good as well as sound decnt. im not wanting no big spl readings or anything. I want to be spending about 50-60quid on 2 subs and about 100-150 on a decent amp, is this possible??
Ex-Finesse
I listen to fast clubby type of music so think 10" ones would be goodSame here mate When I get the money to do my ice, it will be mainly components for loud and clear high freq. sounds A mate of mine over in America at the moment is bringing me 2 audiobahn subs back! 400w rms, 10inch competition subs for £60!! Over here it would be more like £200!! Hmm... just need amp and headunit (which I really can't afford) Edited October 30, 2003 by black_escort

simonh1
No m8, mine are the 12W6v2, quite a different speaker altogether, very much like the 12W7, the w6 range are reasonably priced and offer excellent 'bang per buck'. Try this link m8 and have a look here, the 10W3v2 are also quite good. http://bassjunkies.com/?P=pbb&A=shop&cid=91&scid=71&mid=486 As you can see the W7's come with a hefty price tag......... sortedford
they will require one each as they are only one channel (hence the monoblock) not really i have a mono block amp, it just means its not stereo, which is how u want subs, u can have 4 subs running off my amp @1000wrms. kev, dont go cheap, you get what u pay for
