Russ_Zetec
OK hello Ice'y novist needs help The instructions ive read say take out the inner arch liner to access the rubber grommet to poke the + wire into the car for the amp.... as far as i can see the arch liner is in there with multiple torx head screws and im not gunna take it off if i dont have too i was thinkin about pokin it thru the other way and taking the side indicator out to access where it sits in the arch then i can get it thru the hole into the battery tray to the fuse ...... Is there an easier way cuz im boggling over this lol What have various ppl done with there's?

Russ_Zetec
Cool thats where mine has gone! i had to double the length of the cable so it could go under the carpet although im very pleased with pack i got for 20quid! all big gauge cables and a decent fuse box with extra connectors just need a bit of dry weather to get it all finished and set up! then maybe a nice box speaker and amp.... hmmm it works for now! thanks Ian
Leicester_Lad
just thought i would let you know earthing them on the bolts near the rear lights can cause broblems when running a too large amp as it takes the eart to the lights as well and stops them from working i fond this out when i was running 2 1000w pro plus amps in the back of my 1.3 escort only reason i know this is that the local car electronics place told me they told me to earth them on the seat bolts or the top of the suspesion strut bolts
Matt Escort RS2k
I would change the earth from the rear light to the seat belt holder on the rear seat as ever time you break there will be voltage spikes induced by the rear brake light and can potentially cause interferance and hissing in the system.
