What happens is wen it gets to a certain level the screen starts to dim with the bass!!! and then if u carry on turning it up it cuts out switches its self on then turns bk on. Unless you can turn it down before the sounds Come in again it just cuts out again. Its really annoying!!! Any ideas would be apreciated
sime73
only thing i can think of is it a high powered head unit ? is the power feed straight from the battery ?
Echos
Nah the stereo is just wired to the standard cables which used to power the original head unit. The thing i cant work out is that it never blows the fuse!!!

B19 JUB
yeah its known as clipping as the amp either head unit or seperate isnt getting enough power from battery to supply speakers so is shutting down.normally this is solved as people say from a direct feed from battery using pretty thick cable as the current can flow to amps very easily
