jp
does anyone know of any company that makes a replacement fuel cap that looks half decent for the mk6 escort. i know sparco do one but its over a £100!
sortedford
One im getting from psg is about £150, but thet are worth it mate, neva get one of the stick on ones, cosive seen some that have started to peel off, and imo the normall one looks better than the stick on ones. Why not try spreying yours a different silver, and screwing allen bolts into it? should cost less than a stick on one, and looks ok. Ian
RobRS1300
I´ve got a lock in one, replaces the whole cap, it wouldnt work on yours though, a good thing to do is find a good motorcycle breakers and get hold of a petrol cap from a bike as they have locking aluminium caps, same a sparco ones... sortedford
I mean the 13quid stick on jobs, not the dimma ones Ian
RS2000
That is a £13 stick on one Not my choice though you have to do something because the body kit prodrudes the original filler cap and looks Shite! Don´t look to bad though
RobRS1300
That dont look bad simon.. I like the way the surround is raised away from the actual cap
sortedford
Looks better than the normall cheap ones! Ian
RS2000
I think it´a because the body kit is making the outside rim stick out and the inside cap sits in the original position and make it look like a dimma
