Nick C
My Mum just bought a 1997 P Reg MK6 Escort 1.6, it has these awful alloys on with a cover over the wheel nuts (to look like quick release wheels) and beneath we found the wrong nuts so she needs some locking wheel nuts. What I need to know is how much they are for all four wheels? Also the alloys being so ugly I decided when I get my MK5 XR3i to give her the alloys from it (as I will be putting new 17's on the XR3i) but will the Alloys from the MK5 fit the MK6? Same locking system and number of nuts right? Thanks guys! Much appreciated,Arnold

BlairM
Alloys off XR3i will fit on her MK6 no probs pretty sure If it's the steel wheel nuts that are on it the now, you'll also need some alloy wheel nuts. Should get them for about £1 each nut.

Nick C
Oopsy I think I have totally explained this wrong, basically ALL four/five bolts on each wheel are the wrong ones, and the wheels are just held on by a thread! So I need ALL the bolts replaced else the wheels are going to fall off methinks... Those are the nuts I need... Cheers and sorry for the confusion,Arnold
