Phill
I've got Apex 40mm springs and standard shocks at the moment. However, a leaky shock has promoted me to get upmarket ones all round. If I were to buy a 60mm G-max kit, could I change around the Gmax 60mm and Apex 40mm springs on the same shocks?I'm not yet sure what ride height I want, and if the springs are interchangeable it would make life a lot easier. Phill
Not sure yet Ian.I'm still on 14" steelies until I get tyres for my 17s, so 60mm will be VERY low on them. I'll probably get the 60mm kit and put the 40mm springs on the shocks for now, and then see how things look once my alloys are sorted.
Cossie Dave
Just get the springs and shocks for 60mm drop, I've got them on mine and it handles much better now. You shouldn't get any scrapage on 17's, I didn't and I don't get much on my 18x7.5. Anyway I'm not sure how the springs would be on those shockers cause know the G-max shocks I've got are shortened to suit the 60mm springs
Phill
Cheers guys, all academic now as I couldn't get the kit in time for the MOT retest. So I just got one Monroe shock to replace the duff one, the full new kit will have to wait.
