Colin Posted August 9, 2004 Share Posted August 9, 2004 Right I was reading the post, and noticed you had changed the steering wheel on the mk6 before you sold it. How the hell did you get the air bag off? I know about the car being disconnected via the battery etc. I've been trying and pulling the thing for about the last two hours with no luck, it seems to pull out at the bottom then at the sides, but it just won't come off more than a 1/2 a centimeter for any reason at all! mk6_milky Posted August 9, 2004 Share Posted August 9, 2004 Dont forget to flick the ignition and take the steering wheel lock off before you disconnect, or you'll never get the wheel off the splines.
