85rob Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 is the rear wiper part of the mot? if it is does the washer jet/nozzle hvae to spray water aswell as the actual wiper working but if theres no wiper then it wont fail? Am i right?
BlairM Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 Wouldn't have thought so, my dads 406 hasn't got a rear wiper / washer, but perhaps if the model was manufactured with one it may need one to pass MOT.
Mike C Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 My rear wiper has been removed, aint a problem mate
sortedford Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 as said ive had them removed off cars before, so they aint needed for the mot
Ex-Finesse Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 My wiper and motor are still in the car but I didn't bother to connect 'em up when I swapped tailgates. They didn't notice / said nothing
rfcrangers Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 being a mot tester i can tel lyou that it aint in the mot mate so it`s fine . regards
