ANT Posted November 13, 2004 Share Posted November 13, 2004 Well.. first ever "legal" cruise, have to say dissapointed with it really. we went there not knowing what to expect, made sure we got there early to ensure we got a good parking place. arrived there about 6:45, had walked around the "Legal" closed off area and was heading back towards the cars at 7:30! The closed area was full down one side of the road with "some" mint motors but most of which have been seen b4, either at southend or at the shows over the summer. The sad truth is the police cars were attracting more attention they had managed to loan some rather tasty motors (Evo, TT, Elise and a NSX!) they were all liveried up with stickers and lights.. *pics to follow* The event itself is likely to get larger, but i think they have started it at the wrong time of the year. The ideas were right, but a bit too small imo. attracted a large amount of people. So we spent most of the night back at our cars where it was business as usuall where the usuall cruisers were Not the best turnout from evo.. but good to see Marc (B19 JUB), kirsty, marc's mate alan, steve (i think) and steve's mate there saw dpusey drivin about pics i'll post in the mornin as i've left cam in car and cant b arsed to go get it . see ya at the kent meet oh and that bird giving out the flyers she must have been cold Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kirsty Posted November 13, 2004 Share Posted November 13, 2004 HEEEEEEEY for my first evo meet it wasnt too badwas a bit scared about going as i only knew ant and didnt realise steve was going but everyone was cool and i had a great time cruise was ok there was a car from mkvregister in the showy bit... really annoying me coz i have know idea who it is lol i took piccies of the police cars, the escort and a really escort cabbie with like cream interior and really good looking and sounding ice setup lol to me it just appeared that everyone had parked up and was just playing their music really loud and it sounded shitemade everything rattle like mad lol anyway thats me doneim off to work, didnt get in till 2ish and i drove 200 miles there and back lol xx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was even disapointed with the fuel stand! Fuel are known for their 'bass' ..., their system that was set up was weak! Not many cars on show although there were a few beauties there! Also some nasty ones like some white nova! Duno what the hell he was doing! Only think i was impressed with were the cop cars lol! Saw one (cant remember what it was though) but on the back it had its spec! 0-60 in 4.3, 450bhp, 55 grand lol! I was amazed! That would do any evo lol, and it was a fuckin estate lol lol! classic! Anyone, sorry didnt see any of you lot, i did look around! Went basildon on the way home and that was poor aswell, police must have been down there early and moved everyone on! Never mind!
