alan_edward
I will have to finalise this decision, but I thought I will test the waters and see where I stand. The ford is a 1994 M plate. TSW 16in alloys with reasonable tyre wear.lowered professionally with 35mm pi suspension kit.Clifford arrow 3 alarm with extra sensors.Nearly new kwik fit exhaust.RS bumpers which are colour coded. (as sig)76k miles. Bad points:Slight paint scratch on one of the arches.(not rusted)Boot would not open, Got stuck as I never used to open the boot. Needs some beating I guess.Possibly the CAT could be gone. Is there any way I can part exchange and pay extra money for , say a diesel escort or any car that gives 40 mpg. Cheers.. The 115ps one is slightly more economical than the 105, but they are the 2 best ones, followed by 1.6, and 1.4 is the juiciest

Chappers
get a diesel, far more economical than the 1.6, and just as fast. Providing you don't drive it like a fcuking MANIAC, then you should get a decent fuel economy.
ScORTED
he clearly knows that or he wouldn't be asking for a diesel
