celsis
Guys, I've got a small problem where my car sorta stops while sitting at lights. Now I know that it's probably the idling valve and I'm gonna get that fixed. there's another wee problem hoever and that's the smell of petrol in the cab when I'm in neutral or first gear. Could this be to do with the idling valve? Cheers!

celsis
check ur fuel lines.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> looked under the car and nothing seems to be leaking. And it only smells when the car is at low speed. Could it be petrol backing up at the idling valve?

ploppy
take a look at the fuel intake pipe on the head when the engine is running. on my zetec, the pressure release valve was a bit funny and petrol pissed out. if ur engine has this make sure u aint got the same.
