sortedford
its most likely the latter as its a common problem.you can take the + and - off the battery and leave for 15 mins.then take the connecters apart under each of the front seats (there yellow you cant miss them).give it a clean, and put back together. job done
silvershaddow
Yep, tis normally the pretensioner signal lead that goes on mine - stupid design, every time i take the seat out the connector gets worse!!
lunty123
i took the dash out replaced the airbag module cleaned the connectors but it was still flashing so i got bored and took the bulbs out the dash clocks and put it all back togther now it dont flash anymore

RickH
Is there a specific order in which you should disconnect the + & - from the battery
The Ince
nope but i prefer -ve and then +ve and put them back in the reverse order, but it makes no odds as far as I'm aware
neil
When removing always negative first for safety as the body of the car is negative. Then when you put them back on its the positive first. Edited August 3, 2005 by neil
