PeeWee Posted September 9, 2005 Share Posted September 9, 2005 Since i bought the car (escort Mk5b 16vZetec) the central locking hasnt worked.tried swapping the control unit 4 1 out of scrappy but nothin happnd.no clicks nothing.ruled out seperate motors as unlikely all wud go at once.maybe fuse but mine doesnt seem 2 av 1 for CL.Only contol unit? PeeWee Posted September 9, 2005 Author Share Posted September 9, 2005 ok>checked it .My fuse box only goes up to 28, which hasnt got a fuse in it 15amp,19 as you say is abs which mine hasnt got ABS hence no place to insert a fuse(just empty slot).Slot 28 does look like it shud av a fuse in(metal inserts etc).on the cover this fuse has a triangle with a ! in it.any clues.
