Heated front screen

Right noticed that the front screen on the car i just bought has scratches on the passenger side where the wiper has marked it, I know it won't be an MOT failure but doesnt look very nice so was thinking instead of fitting a standard non heated front screen how easy is it to wire up a heated front screen and how much is the actual screen?

 

I Know i need a front/rear heated screen switch and obviously the screen but what wiring would i need?

you can get the wiring loom from a ford website. www.fordpartsuk.com

the loom is part number : 1011560

 

or you can try a breakers? but then you have hte fun of getting tha damn thing out.

So is the loom a plug n play type or is it a case of soldering etc?

loom is £72 from ford, screen is £152.
