davespages
But a mondeo is way heavier. A 130spec 1.8 xr3i has a 0-60 of 8.6, so only 0.6seconds quicker for that extra 15bhp and 1lb.ft. After much research i have found some rolling roads to be rather generous with figures.I had a bhp/torque figure of 144bhp/128lbs.ft and yet with a decat and powerflow zorst my car is much faster, yet on another rolling road she made 126lbs.ft and 136bhp... the same dyno that rob_gti ran on yesterday! So In future, 140+bhp figures make me dubious if they are on a standard manifold and 2.0 cams as kent 1802's will be needed, as well as vernier pullies and good management which is one of two issues i have. 4-2-1 manifold needed (for torque)Better Management. Ex-Finesse
A much more realistic figure imo Dave, still a good result on standard manifolds though!
davespages
Well its plain to see either on RR was stingy or the other over generous, however theres no need to be big headed about it.I still stand by staying Chriss todd is a good bloke, i just think thy need o re-calibrate thier rollers.
