foxdie
117 sounds about right from a 1.8. Remember no-one really uses the ATW figure, preferng to go for the estimated crank figure. (pub figires as they are called)

basskiddanny
my 1.8si push out 135-140 bhp on flywheel~~~ Did you get this readout from a rolling road?Did you try it without mods and then with mods?Do you actually believe your car is faster than any other 1.8 Si?Do you think its faster than an escort with a 136bhp std Mondeo 2.0 Engine in it? Panyip
With what engine mods? - pipercross viper air filter- superchips- 4-2-1 maniford (this made big different)- full de-cat exhaust system (de-cat defo faster than sport cat) Did you get this readout from a rolling road? nah..i was checking all the injection system and senser 4 the carthe the guy told me it has that bhp Did you try it without mods and then with mods? nope Do you actually believe your car is faster than any other 1.8 Si? i don't actually believe my car is faster than other escort, bigger bhp doesnt means it is faster!! but it does defo give me more power when going uphill Do you think its faster than an escort with a 136bhp std Mondeo 2.0 Engine in it? 2.0 ltr engine has 136bhp standard but it had potential to tune up, so i dont think mine is quicker than it coz again bhp not equal fast just checked the parker web site a 1.8 escort 0-60 in 9.2sa 2000on mondeo 2.0 142 bhp 0-60 in 9.5s Edited April 8, 2006 by Panyip
