tidykart Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 Went to Castle Combe yesterday for the RS day that they were holding. Was a really really good day, I thought it would just be some RS’ going round a track again and again- which is fine. But this was like a mini Ford Fair they had traders there loads of clubs and the amount of cars there was amazing I haven’t been to Ford Fair (going this year though) so I was amazed by how many Ford’s were in one place. They had parade laps going through the ages of the RS badge, demonstrations, bars for a couple of pints, women practically wearing nothing (great), and loads of drivers really pushing there cars on the circuit, and the weather just held off, was well worth the £12 entrance fee. Anyway enjoy the pics, there are a lot but there SO many amazing cars and shots, check them out…. these aren’t all of them either… Best Car of the show IMO: Fastest Track car: The car that blew up (later on in the day, it was being ragged and didn’t sound healthy): Funniest moment (this is the only Vauxhall that was there and guess what…) Respect award (this guy was throwing this ST round the circuit, spun it a couple of times, it’s the superchip ST): Phatt award (the engine is this monster is from a meuseam it’s only done 5,000 miles , it’s been spaced framed, everything ya can thing of it’s been done,the whole car has cost £33,000!!): Show shots: Track shots: Me mate Ben:His car, bit dirty but this is how a zetec-s should look- lush!!Excited about the show:Someone’s just pulled out infront of him:Cool belt? Nice to have the obligatory chat with Al and Si, quite a tradition now!But, come on, no disrespect to the actual girls themselves (and I am by no means stunning with a perfect body) but say what everyone else was thinking - they looked awful! I'm not sure any girl in her right mind would've dressed up like that thinking they look attractive and talk about camel toes! pmsl, sadly most people were taking the Pee rather than drooling Z Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As for that Focus ST that you pictured, was being driven by Tiff Needel. (bloody nutter ) I was there in my TVR, but was only in the carpark. RS2000 Posted July 14, 2006 Share Posted July 14, 2006 This car is absolutely stunning, if you ever see it at a show, go have a good look. The work that has gone into this must have taken years.The car runs cosworth running gear, the underside is as clean as the top side, with alluminium diff cages etc. I would hate to think how much this would cost££££££££ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
