Picture perfect... spoiler fitted today. It's actually a Sierra Sapphire genuine Ford RS spoiler I had lying around. A few hours with the creative grinder and some very strong, a couple of bolts and a bit of painting and walla...

I'm pretty pleased with it!

It isn't a silver or red impreza is it??

If you happen to come across a set of decent 15/16 rims (cossie style or similar) locally let me know - that'll be my next modification.

Laserline Cat 1 alarm now installed and working sweet :P

Scorpion back box sitting waiting to go on... even though it's diesel it'll look good if nothing else! Can't really complain for free like...

Nah mate, free is good!

Have you tried the ads4free paper over here, I usually see second hand alloy's for sale in it all the time, nearly bought a set of OZ super t's two months go from it. £400 quid with decent tyres, but they where up in Lurgan and couldnt be arsed driving!

Free exhasut, is good, slap an air filter on there too for the fun of it!

Well again it was free... I was given a 1989 Ford Orion Ghia 1.6 with the scorpion and the alarm on it. The car itself is beyond economic repair but the engine is going into another mk4 Escort I have along with the rest of the exhaust and the lowering springs for a bit of a track motor.

The alarm was tricky enough to do. I labelled all the wires though before taking it out of the mk2 Orion and then installed it in the newer one which was as easy as pie. The only problem was that the mk2 had negative poled central locking and the mk3 has positive. Nothing a set of relays didn't sort out...

As for the alarm itself... It has E/W output although I haven't connected it. It operates the central locking. Self arming after a certain period which immobilises the car. Remote features "panic button" which means you can scare the crap out of people walking past by setting the alarm off but still leaving the car locked - this can be fun!

So far it seems to be a pretty good alarm and it reduced my insurance by 10%!
