Si
M4TT, I have recently bought a Red Bonnet for my 1996 MK 6 Escort, the bonnet came from a 1998 MK 6 Escort Estate, now to me it looks faded, but i have been told it could be the wrong paint colour. any way i can revive the pink bonnet to match my Shiney Red car. Apart from re spraying it. Cheers Si.
PeeWee
I hope this helps Si, my radient red mk5b suffered from paint fade & this is how i tackled it.Rubbing compound to remove the faded layer of paint followed by Autoglym super resin polish then waxwd to protect the new finish.
