JonC Posted March 5, 2003 Share Posted March 5, 2003 cossie rep, i know you have the 2litre throttle body on your motor mate, the guy down at brooklands horsepower did a power run on my car with the 2ltre tbh on it and a k&n, he also did it with the 1.8 tbh and k&n... The 1.8ltbh was better, with the 2ltr tbh on the car it was running very very lean, so he chipped the car and tested again with the 2ltr tbh on and it still was running lean... so he finally took the chip out again and upped the fueling to that of an RS2K kinda level and we did a final power test and made 130bhp...... Until you chip your motor mate the 2ltr throttle body will make your car slowerits needs proper setting up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

JonC Posted March 5, 2003 Share Posted March 5, 2003 i had a few power tests on the rollers a superchip and the bloke adjusted my idle contol valve and got my car running a hell of a lot better, about 6 hours labour and the chip alone is like 300£ it all came too 550£ inc VATwhich wasnt bad IMO as the car is running sweet as a nut ! :ehh: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
