Probably one of the dumbest accidents to date

right then...had a bit of an accident with my escort while stationary...AND I WASN'T EVEN IN THE CAR.lol

Basically i was welding the exhaust underneath the car and i jacked one side of the car of the floor, however for the first and last time i will make this mistake i forgot to chock the back wheel and to make it even worse the handbrake wasnt working properly so obviously it slipped of the jack while i was underneath...i rolled got out but just caught my arm on the side of the car, the problem was as i tried to move to quickly i ended up burning my eyes with alot of sparks and flicks from the welder which landed in my eyes, the car rolled about 1m - 2m before it hit the house..causing the damage below...not happy and it also put me in hospital. i added a pic of me in hospital for your amusement. ever since this event ive been nicknamed patch as you can prob see why.

The car is repaired now...took me a week to get it back fixed, had to bend all the metal and wing back out then weld it closed (i didnt do the welding this time, doctor said im not aloud for a while due to the damage ive caused to my right eye...yay) then used fibreglass filler to bring it back to shape...ill upload more photos of the repairs once ive seen my friend the photos.

o yea before anyone asks i had to wear the patches for 48 hours...wasnt impressed.

patches rule.lol try wearing them for 48 hours, i needed someone to take me to the toilet and even help me aim :pancake:

good thing she was my personal female nurse :thumb: best part about it, girl i been trying to get into for ages came down to look after me and stay wid me...awesome

i think the lesson i learnt was don't rush with things like this, ive done it hundreds of times i was rushing this time and well the rest is history i suppose. im really glad i got out...i heard a creak, the car moved abit and then that was it gone...i can say in all honestly i nearly crapped myself, i though i was going to be squashed with no one around.

You had a luck escape! axle stands only cost about 10 quid a pair! learn't your lesson? :D

:pancake: i have a set actually, but i was being an arse and rushing, so im not going to rush again, if i dont have enough time i simply wont do it instead of rushing. i usually dont but my exhaust was blowing really bad and it was annoying me real bad. im an arse.lol
