Goodwood Trackday 16/02/08

Recently got a new camera and wanted to try it out, so went along to a track day at Goodwood. Not too bad for a first go, especially as it was bloody cold and I couldn't stop shaking

Good pic's. you dont happen to know the website that lists all the trackdays at G'Wood do you? its soooo close to me....and i'd love to get to use my video mount.

Those are pretty good quality pics. How many cars turned up for the track day?

Using a Canon G9, which I believe to be the top end of the point and shoot cameras, decided I didn't want the hassel (and cost) of an slr and all its lenses.

They seem to be around 200 quid, so not the cheapest of days.

 

Not sure how many cars there were, I only stayed for the morning session, seemed a good selection of cars there though. I want to take my escort out on there now though

Been there done that. Been to a few motorsport evens these past few months, been damn cold. Went to a rally this weekend, first my fingrs turned white, then went a blotch red lol. Didn't stop me taking photos, did stop me playing around with the settings as wanted to shove my hands in my pockets between cars lol.

Not sure who was quickest, it was all very sensible, no off at'll that I saw.

 

Going to a rally in bournemouth this saturday coming, might try and find some thin gloves.
