LJennison
Hello all. I'm new here just after a bit of advice really please. I have a Mk 5 1.6 16v LX 5 door and I'm after some wolfrace alloys for it, I'v heard 17's will go straight on and you can lower it, but can I get 18's straight on?? Currently have shitty 14's on with massive gaps just waiting to be filled. Also bought some Vibe 6x9's today and boy are they hard hitting just for 6x9's. thanx for you input. cossie rep
you can get 18" straight on but i would advise on getting the arches rolled. you can also get it lowered. with the 18" on but you will loose a fair bit of top end
LJennison
Really?? 18's straight on!! I'm well chuffed about that. When it's sunny tomorrow I will take a pic of my current wheels and the gap, what profile tyres should I go for with the 18's?? Loads of people have said you can get 18's straight on and others say you can't has anyone actually done this?> cheers.

sime73
arches will need rolling with 18's and probably 215/35/18 tyres
