Ive also had interest in the fuel tank, Cosworth kit and Zetec engine. Trig Posted May 27, 2011 Author Share Posted May 27, 2011 Any more info on the engine? 1.8 or 2.0? Its a 1.8 zetec, looks to be using a decomp plate. The inlet is a polished aluminium zetec item, the 1.6 version which I understand is better than the HO version as the smaller one keeps the air speed up when you are using smaller turbo's. Im not too sure on the spec of the injectors, I just know that they were competent in fueling the engine to its RR figure. There is an adjustable fuel regulator fitted which has a presure gauge. Without taking it apart I dont know if there has been any head work or had different cams fitted. The sump has the oil return welded in at a good height to ensure oil flow through the turbo should be good. The clutch is a paddle plate, Im not sure on the clutch cover. The turbo is a Garrett item, similar in size to a T25 but has a 3 bolt flange fitted. My research points towards this coming from a Focus T190 as the matching manifold is a perfect fit to the Zetec head. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
