new car time

not posted in this part for a while, having a few boring cars, i decided to get something a bit more fun...

 

after 400 miles in 1 day, i decided to give it a wash (and get rid of a killer hangover), the wash went well - did everything i planned except polish and wax the outside which will be done tomorrow!

 

few plans include refurbishing the alloys in grey and adding a few of the optional extras which are available such as the bluetooth head-unit, total closure etc - and its first MOT on Tuesday

enjoy it glad its not that tacky orange colour (like my next door neighbor has) prefer the facelift variant myself, front looks more agressive. think grey wheels wont suit though. grey car with grey wheels. keep them silver or swap for mk2 focus RS ones

i really dont like the facelift one! i wanted one a bit newer than this but went for an older one so i can have the pre-facelift. The new ones look too smooth and i hate the look of the headlights! each to their own though!

 

as for the grey wheels, i was also having second thoughts but may give it a go anyway, if i don't like it then they may be going black - definitely something different to silver though!!!

Looks nice, and the wheels look fab as they are, why pay hundreds to have them redone in grey...then again in black if you dont like grey?

still not a fan of the bigger shaped foci but a nice car none the less, I think I'd have one of these but it'd have to be white. Interior looks smart!

at the moment the display is saying 27.5, that was from 400 miles, 350 of which which were mainly motorway. This is the second ST ive had and the last one (ST2) told me that i was averaging 18-19 mpg around town (London, so one big traffic jam) but i aint paying attention to that!!!

 

Looks nice, and the wheels look fab as they are, why pay hundreds to have them redone in grey...then again in black if you dont like grey?

yeah, ill make a decision on that when i get around to it. First i want to add a few optional extras, bluetooth, ipod connectivity so i can control ipod through the ford Sony headunit, add duel climate control. First things first though, there is a stone chip and a small scratch that i will be sorting and MOT - hopefully this week if i get chance

Like that, looks nice in grey.

 

Save your money on having the wheels painted though, just change them for some better ones, I think the standard ST wheels are hideous, look like some 90s throwback Venoms!
