BadBoy Remixed Posted May 11, 2003 Author Share Posted May 11, 2003 (edited) ***************************UPDATE******************** Went to see the 5 Door, soon as we got there the car looked good and it was amparo got in and first thing that was spotted was a clifford alarm light nexted to the remote boot release but wasnt on and there was no alarm!!!!!! just a light (so it had been took out) otherwize the interior was in good conition there was some siggy burns on the drivers seat, nexted the engine, looking about it was fine, what started to arouse suspition was that there was a K&n air filter instruction book sitting nicely tooked away on the right side headlight. so it had a k&n and had been put back to standard. nexted the boot, looked good and clean, lifted up the carpet and shock! a boot covered in a very poorly fit sound proofing there was also a left over earth point and a collect audio connectors floating about the car it had a SS back box and that sounded good, but the overall feel was the car had been raced about abit, also the gearbox didnt like finding 1st n second gear. in asking the bloke about it apparently it was a family car that his son used mainly and was then traded in for a BMW 5 series.the trader had it posted for £3999 after tellin him about its little "problems" he very quickly dropped it to £2500 and all i can say was it was a lil bit of pressure selling, but i walked away. dunno aboout 3 door yet.
