Its likely with it being back end of september, but generally I don't think past septembers have been all that bad. However, Rother Valley isn't the nicest of places to be when it's wet and miserable. There is the water ski bar there but I'm not sure how big it is and if it would accomodate everybody? Neil - what say you?? I know you went in? Ideally needs to be between junctions 27/28 and 34meadowhall) and MUST not be too far from the motorway so it is easy to find. It needs to have a big enough carpark for 20 + cars, inside with food/drink facilities, and big enoough to take 20 odd of us all in one go. Either a single large pub or a leisure complex with everything. I have a few places in mind but does anybody have any ideas ?? There is Crystal Peaks which is not far from Rother valley at all, It has a nice pub with a big carpark straight opposite (The Gypsy Queen) The Drakehouse retail/leisure park is just up the road, with pizza hut, KFC and another quite large pub. Might be an option??
