how to print a song list

ok ..the problem is i have a couple of folders each with about 5000 songs listed as vlc files ... i'd like to print out a list of said songs .. but cant work out the best way .. i've tried cpoy/paste into wordpad or notepad but it takes forever to transfer was thinking of about 20/30 to a page .... they are karaoke songs ..hence why i need the lists ... picture of how they listed >>>

i dont want the VLC icon if you get what i mean

You can do it from the command line.

 

1) Open the command line (cmd.exe in NT/2000/XP)

2) Navigate to the required directory using the cd command.

3) type dir /b>filelist.txt

 

A file called filelist.txt will be created with the directory contents. If you want to create the file list elsewhere, use a fully qualified file name or use the ..\ convention. Don't forget that Windows uses \ not / as directory delimiters.

 

tbh mate imo i dont think u can, if u click views then change to list, the songs are listed in name order, without icons, but u cant copy and paste still.

 

You don't work in IT do you?
