mexico_16v
Got myself a diesel Escort, now when is is cold i have to turn the key so the glow-plug comes on and i wait for it to go out, i have to do this 4 or 5 times before it'll start. I thinking new glow plugs will sort that out. Now someone else reckons the glow plugs are fine, it could be the diesel pump is timed up wrong and possibly out by a tooth. I can't see that myself as if that where the case, then surely it'll run bad all the time and it does'nt. Once running it is sweet as a nut. Once the car has been running for a bit and warmed up, it will start first time everytime, but when it is cold i have to resort to the turn the key, wait, turn the key again.... Whatda reckon?
