dutchkev
with my TV i have to assign the rear audio to the component channel before any sound is emited if that makes any sence?
Ramesh
do u mean component or composite? I do the same thing with composite sound and use the d-sub from the computer to output the vga signal. You might have to tell the tv through the menu where it is getting the sound from.
geordie_aaron
very similar duffa - although my 3rd HDMI is on the side........i dont have to use digital input do i? (FFS) as for assigning where sound comes from - no options i've seen, closest i've come to is 'sound select: main' but have no means of changing as its greyed out in every source/channel
duffa
i would have said use the pc in audio with the 3.5mm jack ... but your already doing that ... have you tried putting the audio out from your laptop to another source .. pc speakers or something just top make sure your headphone output is working
SteveB
i would have said use the pc in audio with the 3.5mm jack +1. You might find that you have a seperate pc in volume level on the tv - check out the menus
