provided ur insurance allows u to drive other vehicles the only requirements are tax/mot and that its not owned or registered to you hence ive been driving my brothers scooby for less than £300 a year :innocent:

thats not exactly true i got done for no insurance due to the other car not having its own insurance

ive been stopped loads of times and they always check my insurance details and im away i found it out when i purchased a car and was talking to a copper about driving it home and he said provided the car is road legal ie tax/mot and my insurance covers me to drive other cars then im fine apparently that is one of the main reasons that the driving other cars was thought up by insurance companies

but if your wanting to do it right most insurance companies do a good deal on a second car especially as it will be used very rarely as we never see sunshine lol
