BLEEdin £40 quid or the 4 so i think ill be putting themon the bay and looking or origional ford ones2.skipping to 3...3.i bought these springs and shocks of jaykaddz, clearly not knowing what i was buying , i didnt know they were just standard shocks or i WOULD definatly not have bought them, even more so for the garage to then tell me one of them was fooked! not in total its set me back near enough 200 pound which could o been spent on some proper gear! anyway i suppose you learn!5. bet you had a garage! shawdreamer Posted December 11, 2009 Share Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) I recently sold a complete set of -60 Gmax shocks and springs for £85 to a lad on ere called "Lanky" and when He reported that one of the shocks had blown a seal before he even fitted them I automatically offered to refund him his purchase price and costs and have the set couriered back to me. he was kind enough not to be to fussed about the mistake given that he'd got a bargain kit even with a shock down and said he'd sort it himself and just wanted to make sure I knew about it. still imo it was my duty as the seller to supply him with all correct information to the best of my knowledge and correct any errors in the purchase afterwards, I was fortunate my mistake wasnt detrimentle this time but my opinion that the problem stated was mine to fix if the buyer requested it still applies. danny1987 Posted December 17, 2009 Author Share Posted December 17, 2009 ok just a quick update, got new mirror so will be fitting that soon then the m3 can come off... just had my arches knocked in up and had primer put on till tuesday getting the arches filled with fibreglass stuff sanded smoothed and all that jaz then repainted for £150 found a bargain job there and hes supposed to be good at it too so will update then, removing the flap muds tuesday also so will be looking for some ford ones if anyone has any. also thinking of heating up & compressing the front springs to make the front end sit flush with the back? thoughts? karl Posted December 17, 2009 Share Posted December 17, 2009 becareful cos primer is porous, so you could still end up with rust anyway. and for £150, you'd be wanting proper metal replacements really. the rest sounds good though. although not sur on the tampering with springs idea.
