escortedal
head gasket is away, cheaper to buy this,as it has 3/4 tank of fuel, need some doors and a rear bumper and it has new disc and pads up front.now it will get crushed for £100 so got engine for nowt really.to do a h/gasket wold cost over a ton in parts alone. stevmo3691
just a thought, but would it not have been easier to take parts off the one with the blown headgasket and put them on the one with good engine. same colour so painting isnt the issue and bolting panels on and off is easier than engine swap and nicer to insurance
dutchkev
first of all, he needed the good engine in his car - the one with the good engine was the one that was crashed. second of all - its a three month old thread and he no longer owns the car
