EscortPaul
Plans sound good mate! Any plans for a wheel change? Or are you keeping the 15inch GTi ones? Cheers mate I sure would love to, depends if I can get them at a good price tbh. 16" is big enough for me so i will look out for the mondey's on the bay! On another note had the Konis delivered and just got a quote for the suspension to be fitted and was told £100. Not sure if thats good considering the springs are pre-installed, what do ya reckon? ThxPaul

Yeah thats at a garage, I thought yours was lowered already, must be the bigger wheels or more likely my eyesight lol. Hey theres nothing wrong with the exhaust, leave as is because there is not much room for adjustment. I had to mod mine due to a broken hanger on the rear pipe, just used a G-clamp and hooked it through the rubber. Paul

EscortPaul
Ok another update Following on from yesterdays delivery of shocks and springs I am please to also say they are now on the car! What a difference it has made to the overall feel of the car. Handling is superb around corners. Not to hard either as I have set them so its softest setting, hope you enjoy the pictures, I think it needs time to settle as Dan has the suspension removed for a while. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/23716.jpghttp://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/23717.jpghttp://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/23718.jpg

Thx mate Yeah your right I will now look out for the 16" wheels, but in no rush as I need the arches on the rear re-done first! The windows were as I got it and it says on them tinted so they must have been like that from the factory! Happy days Paul Softest setting!!! Get them stiffened up now and enjoy the corners Also look into colour-coded door handles. Hi Dan I will try the hardest setting tomorrow and report back! MikeM kindly donated some door handles for me to paint, so watch this space for the update. Thanks again for the suspension mate, look forward to your next project!!!
