protouring mk6 Posted March 17, 2010 Author Share Posted March 17, 2010 just been sorting out odds and ends,routing fuel lines new fuel filler pipe and cap.its all stuff that does not really make it look any different.hoping to get most off the welding done on saturday so will post some more pics over the weekend.not going to be ready for end of march but im not about to rush it, so if it takes a few weeks more then so be it.as i hope to attend a few shows this year (ford fair being the main one) so its got to be right. cheers for all the interest will keep it coming. protouring mk6 Posted March 20, 2010 Author Share Posted March 20, 2010 sorry been no pics for a few days but will post some tomorrow.got all the new chassie rails fully welded and the wheel tubs welded into the shell.also sorted the fuel filler cap to be welded in the passenger door shut.its starting to look something now.next weekend end will be the big one when the shell will come off the jig.can not wait!
